Xiaomi has expanded its global portfolio with the launch of the new wireless earbuds, Redmi Buds 6 and Redmi Buds 6 Pro which are targeting diverse requirements.
With features for budget-conscious buyers to those looking for high-end audio performance, Xiaomi’s latest is an offering that can make a mark in the crowded wireless earbuds market.
Redmi Buds 6: Affordable Yet Feature-Packed
The Redmi Buds 6 are just the right buds if you’re hunting for good audio at a reasonable price.
These earbuds come with a dual driver setup consisting of 12.4 mm titanium coated dynamic driver and 5.5 mm piezoelectric tweeter to make sure they provide a sharp high, great mids and punchy bass.
And Xiaomi has thrown in customizable sound profiles too, which let you tweak the audio to your liking. Active noise cancellation (ANC) has to be one of the best features, it blocks up to 49dB of noise even though noise cancellation isn’t the only thing that the K5 has to offer.

Redmi Buds 6 Pro: Premium Audio for Audiophiles

Out of the box, you get this cutting edge triple driver setup: dual PZT tweeters, 11 mm titanium diaphragm driver. With this advanced configuration, expected sharp highs and deep, resonant bass make them a strong choice for those who like detailed sound.
With the Buds 6 Pro, the ANC performance also takes a step up, cutting noise by up to 55 dB. Talking of which, they claim that they block off distractions 14 percent more effectively than their predecessor, making them perfect to block out noise in noisy environments.
Thanks to a stronger codec support (LDAC codec), users can stream high quality (at up to 990 kbps) audio, while every note sounds fantastic. For its Pro model, battery life will last up to 9.5 hours on a single charge, 36 hours total with the charging case.
Other features include customized EQ modes, dimensional audio with head tracking and a three microphone AI system for clear voice calls.
The Redmi Buds 6 Pro will arrive on January 15 too, priced at £64.99 (roughly €80, $81).
