Nubia is doubling down on gaming gear. Right after unveiling the Fold & Flip 3 Go in Japan, the company has introduced a brand-new pair of gaming-focused TWS earbuds in China — the Nubia CyberBuds.
They’re already up for reservation on JD.com for an attractive introductory price of 199 yuan (around $28), with full sales beginning December 9.
Bold Alien Design Built for Gamers
The CyberBuds are not trying to blend in. Nubia has gone for a unique two-part mechanical structure paired with a futuristic alien-style finish.
The charging case features RGB lighting and even a tiny screen for quick visual information.

Using the Nubia Life+ app, both the earbuds and the case can be customized with different lighting effects — perfect for gamers who like their gear to match their setup.
Despite the flashy design, these gaming earbuds remain light. Each earbud weighs just 3.6g, while the case comes in at 58g. A built-in lanyard slot adds a bit of everyday practicality for users on the move.
50ms Low-Latency Mode for Competitive Play
For mobile gamers, audio lag can be the difference between winning and losing.
Nubia is addressing that with FlashLink 2.0 — a low-latency audio technology capable of reducing delay to as little as 50ms. That means more precise timing in shooters, racing games, or action titles where fast reactions matter.
Connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 5.4, ensuring a stable link and quick pairing the moment you open the case.
If you’re using a Red Magic phone, you’ll also get a convenient system pop-up that shows connection status and battery levels.
Custom Audio Modes for Different Games
Nubia isn’t just targeting speed — it wants better immersion too. The CyberBuds app includes multiple audio presets tuned for specific genres, including FPS and racing.
For players who know exactly how they want their games to sound, there’s also a manual EQ mode for fine-tuning.
Up to 48 Hours of Total Battery Life
Gamers who stay locked into long sessions will appreciate the battery numbers. Each bud gets a 35mAh cell while the case holds a larger 500mAh battery.
Nubia says you can listen for up to six hours per charge, and up to 48 hours total with the case included — enough to get through several days of gaming without constantly reaching for a charger.
