Connectivity
The HT10 earbuds have Bluetooth 5.3 which provides a solid connection. I found the Bluetooth range to be good.
One useful feature is multipoint connectivity, allowing you to connect the earbuds to two devices simultaneously. The earbuds are also compatible with the QCY app for additional customization options.
Comfort and Fit
I found the HT10 earbuds to be very comfortable to wear. Even though they don’t have silicone ear tips, they stay securely in my ears.
In addition to a comfy fit, they also feature very effective hybrid adaptive ANC. The earbuds have an IPX5 water resistance rating too.
QCY App
The QCY companion app gives you the ability to adjust various settings. You can customize the sound with adaptive EQ presets.
ANC modes can also be controlled in the app. Additionally, there are options to remap the touch controls, enable a low latency gaming mode, adjust audio balance, and more.
Overall, the app is well-designed and provides a good amount of customization.
Sound Quality
This is where the HT10 earbuds really shine. The sound quality is excellent, with deep bass that remains clean even at high volumes.
QCY did a great job tuning the sound profile. The adaptive EQ effects in the app let you personalize the audio further. The HT10 definitely stand out for their impressive sound.
Microphone Performance
For phone calls, the earbuds are equipped with 6 microphones. I tested the call quality and the mics were able to pick up my voice clearly. People on the other end could hear me without any issues. The HT10 performed well in this regard.
Latency I didn’t notice any audio lag or latency when watching videos. For gaming, the dedicated low latency mode works as expected to keep the sound in sync with the on-screen action. I had no problems with latency during my usage.
Battery Life
You can get around 5 hours of continuous music playback with ANC (active noise cancellation) turned off, depending on your volume levels.
Compared to some other QCY earbuds I’ve tested, I found the battery life on the HT10 to be a bit lackluster. But it’s still decent for this class of earbuds.
Where to Buy?
Verdict
Overall, the QCY HT10 AilyBuds Pro+ are fantastic earbuds that I highly recommend. While the battery life is just average, they excel in terms of sound quality, ANC performance, comfort, and app support.
The touch controls work reliably and the build quality is top-notch. At around $50 (USD), these are an excellent value as well.
The HT10 are among the best earbuds I’ve tested from QCY. They check all the right boxes for a great pair of feature-packed true wireless earbuds.
