After using them daily for calls, music, and workouts, I’ve gathered a pretty good idea of what they do well—and where they fall short.

Unboxing

The unboxing experience is pretty minimal. Inside the box, you get:

The earbuds themselves look surprisingly good for the price. They’re clip-on, open-ear style with a glossy silver outer finish and matte interior.

The lid locks in place nicely thanks to a spring mechanism, but here’s the weird part — opening or closing the lid doesn’t automatically turn the buds on or off. Not a deal-breaker, but worth mentioning.

The C-shaped bridge is made from a flexible NiTi memory alloy — basically a material that bends but comes right back to shape. Over that, there’s a soft silicone coating which makes them more comfortable to wear for long stretches.

Pairing is fast — about 3 seconds when you pull them out of the case. If you’re connecting just one bud, it takes a bit longer, around 7 seconds.

There’s also a companion app, and honestly, I didn’t expect it to offer this much:

Sound Quality

I’ve used a few open-ear earbuds before, so I had low expectations for sound. But the C30S surprised me.

Let’s get real: you won’t get that deep, punchy bass you’d get from a sealed in-ear pair. That’s just how open-ear works. But for what they are, the sound is quite impressive.

• Bass: Present, controlled, not booming — just enough to give body to your tracks.
• Mids: Really solid. Vocals and instruments come through clear.
• Highs: Clean, maybe a little soft at the top, but not dull.
• Soundstage: Nice sense of openness.

I tested them with my OnePlus 13, iPhone 16 Pro Max, and Redmi Note 14. Funny enough, the iPhone sounded slightly louder than the others, even though it doesn’t support LDAC. The Redmi felt a little toned down in the sub-bass, but that’s normal — different phones process Bluetooth audio differently.

LDAC did make the sound a bit clearer and more detailed, but not night-and-day. Still, nice to have on something this affordable.

As for sound leakage, it stays fairly controlled until around 50–55 % volume. Beyond that, people next to you will definitely hear what you’re listening to. So, not ideal for a library.

I tested the mic in a quiet room and then added traffic noise. Indoors, my voice came through clean. Outdoors, it was usable but not amazing — typical for budget earbuds.

Charging the buds from 0 to 100 % took me about 1 hour and 18 minutes, and the case took just under 2 hours to fully charge with a 5 W adapter. A full case can top up the buds roughly 5 times.

I just wish the LED indicator was a bit more informative. It’s not always clear how much battery is left.
