Honor is expanding its audio lineup beyond smartphones, quietly launching the Honor Earbuds 4 for the global audience.
These wireless earbuds, which were first introduced in China last year, are now ready to make their international debut.
They come with a range of features that aim to compete in the bustling mid-range market, including hybrid active noise cancellation and a battery life that’s quite remarkable.

A familiar design with a premium twist
The Earbuds 4 arrive in White and Black, featuring a dual-texture finish that mixes matte and glossy elements.
Honor says the design is inspired by “the shimmer of ocean light,” with the reflective surface creating subtle highlights under sunlight. It’s a small aesthetic touch, but one that gives the earbuds a more premium look than typical budget options.

Each earbud weighs just 5.3 grams, while the charging case comes in at 38.3 grams, keeping the overall package lightweight and pocket-friendly.
Dual drivers and tuned sound profile
Under the hood, Honor is pushing audio quality as a key selling point. The Earbuds 4 pack dual dynamic drivers (11mm + 6mm), designed to deliver a balanced sound signature with clearer vocals and stronger bass response.
The addition of a titanium diaphragm helps extend high-frequency performance (10–20kHz), while also improving loudness and clarity. On paper, the setup suggests a noticeable upgrade over single-driver earbuds commonly found at this price.
Hybrid ANC with multiple levels
Noise cancellation is another major highlight. The Earbuds 4 support up to 50dB of hybrid active noise cancellation, which is competitive for this segment.
Users can switch between three modes depending on their environment:
- Deep for airplanes or subways
- Medium for busy streets or cafes
- Light for quieter places like libraries or offices
Honor also includes dual transparency modes. Ambient Mode lets in environmental sounds like traffic, while Voice Mode boosts human voices — useful for announcements or quick conversations without removing the earbuds.
Smarter calls with AI noise reduction
For calls, the Earbuds 4 rely on a triple-microphone system paired with a DNN algorithm. This setup filters out background noise and reduces wind interference (up to 6 m/s), aiming to keep voice quality clear even in crowded or outdoor environments.
Battery life
Battery endurance is where the Earbuds 4 really stand apart. Honor claims up to 46 hours of total playback with the charging case.
On a single charge, users can expect:
- Up to 9 hours of music playback
- Around 5 hours with ANC enabled
Fast charging is also supported, with a 10-minute top-up delivering up to 3 hours of playback, which should be handy for quick use.
Gesture controls and smart features
The earbuds support a full set of touch controls:
- Slide to adjust volume
- Double-tap to play/pause
- Triple-tap to skip tracks
- Press and hold to toggle ANC
Additional features include smart wear detection, AI translation, and support for the Honor AI Space app, which allows users to manage settings and customize controls.
Price and availability
Honor is positioning the Earbuds 4 as an affordable option across multiple regions. Pricing is set at:
- AED 169 in the UAE
- SAR 199 in Saudi Arabia
- RM 399 in Malaysia
Availability varies by market, with sales handled through Honor’s official regional websites.
