Oppo has officially launched its latest flagship wireless earbuds, the Enco X4, in China, alongside the new Find X10 series.
This new model is a follow-up to the Enco X3 and features a redesigned dual-driver system, Dynaudio tuning, adaptive active noise cancellation, and an impressive battery life that can stretch up to 53 hours with the charging case.
The Enco X4 continues the collaboration with Dynaudio but introduces a fourth-generation dual-driver setup.
Each earbud is equipped with an 11mm dynamic woofer paired with a 6mm tweeter, while Oppo has kept the dual-DAC crossover architecture from the previous version.
Additionally, Oppo has made some tweaks to the internal acoustic design.
The company claims these updates are designed to cut down on distortion and enhance bass response compared to the Enco X3, all while preserving the neutral sound signature that the Enco X series is known for.

Dynaudio tuning and high-resolution audio
Dynaudio is playing a key role in fine-tuning the new earbuds. Oppo has teamed up with Dynaudio’s audio experts to craft the sound profile of the Enco X4, drawing inspiration from the renowned Danish brand’s premium Hi-Fi speakers.
These earbuds are equipped to handle 24-bit/48kHz high-resolution audio and support the LHDC Bluetooth codec, along with AAC and SBC.
They also feature spatial audio capabilities, and the HeyMelody companion app offers a variety of Dynaudio-tuned EQ presets for those who like to tweak their sound experience.
The dual-driver setup is cleverly designed to assign specific tasks to the woofer and tweeter, with the larger driver focused on lower frequencies and the smaller tweeter taking care of the highs.
Oppo’s updated acoustic structure aims to enhance the seamless transition between these two drivers.
Adaptive ANC with Conversation Awareness
Noise cancellation is a major highlight of the Enco X4. Oppo has equipped these earbuds with a state-of-the-art 6nm NPU and an adaptive ANC system that can automatically tweak the noise cancellation based on your environment.
Oppo claims that the Enco X4 offers up to 200% more noise suppression compared to the Enco X3, based on their own tests. However, since this is an internal claim, we’ll need to see how they perform in real-world scenarios.
Another cool feature is the Conversation Awareness mode. When the earbuds detect that you’re talking, they lower the music volume and adjust the noise control settings, making it super convenient to have a quick chat without needing to take them out.
Four microphones for calls
Oppo has also focused on call quality. The Enco X4 use four microphones, including a VPU bone-conduction microphone, with beamforming and AI-based voice separation working together to isolate the user’s voice from surrounding sounds.
The system is designed to reduce background noise during calls, particularly in crowded or noisy surroundings. Oppo is also using the microphones and its software processing for other voice-related features built into the earbuds.
The Enco X4 support AI-powered live translation through Oppo’s HeyMelody app, although the availability of some software features may depend on the connected device and market.
Up to 53 hours of battery life
Battery life is another area where Oppo has made a noticeable improvement.
The Enco X4 are rated for up to 13 hours of playback on the earbuds themselves with ANC turned off. Including the charging case, total playback time increases to as much as 53 hours.
For comparison, the Enco X3 was rated for up to 43 hours of combined playback, giving the new model a considerably larger endurance figure.
Using higher-quality LHDC audio reduces battery life. Oppo rates the Enco X4 for around 10 hours from the earbuds and 42 hours with the case when using LHDC, depending on the operating conditions.
The charging case supports both wired and wireless charging, while the earbuds have an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.
Bluetooth 6.1 and multipoint connectivity
The Enco X4 also move to Bluetooth 6.1 and support multipoint connectivity, allowing them to remain connected to devices across Android and iOS.
Physical interaction is handled through touch and swipe controls, while head gestures can be used for actions such as answering or rejecting calls.
Oppo has also included spatial audio and other software-based audio features aimed at making the earbuds work more closely with its phones and companion app.

Oppo Enco X4 price and availability
The Oppo Enco X4 are currently available in China for CNY 1,199. They come in three finishes: Pink Gold, Soft White and Titanium Grey.
Oppo has not announced a global launch date yet. The Enco X3 was sold in international markets, however, so the Enco X4 could eventually follow the same route. For now, Oppo has only confirmed the Chinese launch.
