Ozlo Sleepbuds 2 Arrive With Longer Battery Life and a Smarter Sleep App

Ozlo has just unveiled its Sleepbuds 2, featuring a host of thoughtful upgrades and a fresh mobile app.

This new model keeps the same core idea as before — tiny, super-comfortable earbuds made for overnight use — but it enhances crucial areas like battery life, connectivity, and ease of use.

More Battery, Better Everyday Use

The biggest upgrade this time is battery life. Sleepbuds 2 can now last up to 14 hours on a single charge, compared to around 10 hours on the previous version. That extra runtime may not matter much for basic overnight use, but it becomes useful if you like to listen to podcasts or audiobooks before falling asleep.

The Smart Case also gets a boost. It can now store enough power for an additional two to three nights, making the device more practical for travel without needing frequent charging.

Ozlo has also worked on Bluetooth stability and range. Pairing should feel smoother this time, and the connection is expected to be more reliable throughout the night. A small but meaningful addition is a physical button on the Smart Case, allowing users to trigger a sleep sound or snooze an alarm without opening the app.

A Completely Redesigned App Experience

Alongside the hardware, the Ozlo Sleep app has gone through a major redesign. The interface looks cleaner, navigation is simpler, and new features bring more control over how audio behaves during sleep.

One of the highlights is the introduction of five Sleep Modes. These modes let users decide how audio transitions through the night. For example, you can start with music or a podcast and automatically switch to a masking sound once you fall asleep, when a timer ends, or when playback stops.

There’s also a simpler mode that plays stored sleep sounds directly, without needing an active Bluetooth connection. This can help extend battery life and reduce interruptions.

Sleep Shield is another useful addition. It blocks calls, notifications, and unexpected audio from disturbing your sleep. On top of that, the sound library has expanded significantly, now offering more than 60 sleep sounds along with new alarm tones and a softer “Nocturnes” music collection.

Deeper Sleep Insights

Ozlo is also pushing further into sleep tracking. The Sleep Patterns feature has now moved out of beta and provides more detailed insights into your nights.

The earbuds themselves monitor movement and breathing, while sensors in the Smart Case track environmental factors like room noise, light, and temperature. Together, this data gives users a clearer picture of what might be affecting their sleep quality.

Still Focused on Sound Masking

One thing that hasn’t changed is Ozlo’s approach to noise. Sleepbuds 2 do not use active noise cancellation (ANC). Instead, they rely on passive noise isolation combined with sound masking.

The silicone tips help reduce external noise, while built-in sounds cover disturbances like snoring, traffic, or noisy neighbors. Ozlo has upgraded the audio system with a built-in amplifier, promising louder output and stronger masking performance.

Users can also choose from different sound presets such as Balanced, Focus, Spoken Word, and Airplane, depending on their environment and listening preference.

This approach remains different from ANC-based sleep earbuds. Rather than trying to remove noise completely, Sleepbuds 2 are designed to blend it away with carefully tuned audio.

Price and Availability

Ozlo Sleepbuds 2 are now available in the United States for $279. The package includes four ear-tip sizes, the Smart Charging Case, and a USB-C cable.

For existing users, the upgrade may not feel essential if the original model already works well.

But for new buyers, Sleepbuds 2 offer a more refined experience with longer battery life, improved controls, and a much more capable app — all while keeping the comfort that made the first version stand out.
