Xiaomi has officially confirmed the launch of its Buds 6 earbuds at a December 25 event in China, alongside the new Xiaomi 17 Ultra smartphone.
The Buds 6 are shaping up to be flagship-grade semi-in-ear earbuds, combining high-quality audio with smart AI-powered tools.
The new design takes inspiration from nature, featuring smooth biomimetic curves and a charging case that resembles a polished pebble.
The earbuds will come in black, white, and pink, offering options for different tastes and styles.

On the audio front, Xiaomi promises “CD-level” lossless sound, highlighting a major focus on delivering premium listening experiences.
While full specifications are still under wraps, Xiaomi has confirmed several smart features, including real-time translation, intelligent recording, and AI-generated summaries, making the Buds 6 more than just a pair of headphones.
The Buds 6 build upon the Buds 5, which launched in mid-2024 with features like spatial audio, active noise cancellation (ANC), and long-lasting battery life. T
he Buds 5 debuted at CNY 699 (roughly $98), and while Xiaomi hasn’t shared the Buds 6 pricing yet, a similar range is expected.
All will be revealed during Xiaomi’s December 25 launch event at 7:00 PM local time in China (4:30 PM IST). Tech enthusiasts can expect a deep dive into the Buds 6’s design, audio quality, and AI capabilities during the live event.
