Anker has introduced the Soundcore C50i, its newest addition to the open-ear audio lineup, now available in the U.S. through Amazon and the Soundcore Store.
The earbuds mark a significant step forward from last year’s C40i, blending a refined design with smarter, more premium audio technology—all at a lower starting price.
A Lighter, Smarter, and More Comfortable Design
The Soundcore C50i maintains the popular open-ear concept but adds a Flexible Open-Ring Design, which aims to offer a more natural and secure fit for longer listening sessions. Each earbud weighs just 5.5 grams, slightly lighter than the C40i, and features a C-shaped frame made from memory titanium for durability and flexibility.

This open-ear structure allows users to stay aware of their surroundings—ideal for outdoor activities or office use—without sacrificing stability or comfort.
Major Audio and Connectivity Upgrades
Under the hood, Anker has made some meaningful improvements. The C50i still uses 12 mm dynamic drivers with a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range, but it’s now tuned for richer bass and clearer mids.
More impressively, it adds support for LDAC, the high-resolution Bluetooth codec that delivers near-lossless audio over wireless connections.

The earbuds also bring Bluetooth 6.0 with multipoint pairing, allowing users to connect to two devices simultaneously, and AI-enhanced microphones for clearer voice calls.
Perhaps the standout new feature is live translation, which reportedly supports up to 100 languages—a first for Soundcore’s open-ear range and a nod to the growing integration of AI-driven functionality in personal audio gear.
Durable and Long-Lasting
Anker has also improved durability, with the C50i rated IP55 for dust and water resistance—an upgrade from the C40i’s IPX4 protection. That makes it a better companion for workouts and commutes in unpredictable weather.
Battery life has been extended too: users can expect 7 hours of playback per charge, with the case pushing total listening time to 28 hours. A USB-C port ensures fast and convenient recharging.
